The carp lake is 2.5 acres and averages 5ft
in depth, it has one long island through the middle
which has a hole either end dropping down to 7ft.
It can comfortably accommodate 10 anglers, and
there are reedbeds and rush areas that are ideal
for stalking and a few areas with water lilies
and bogbean.
Fishing and Baits
Squid and octopus, B2, strawberry, pineapple and
tutti-fruiti boilies, floating crust, dog biscuit
and halibut pellet are all methods that work well.
Winter baits are maggots on a hair rig, worm,
sweetcorn and ground baits either fished over
or in pva bags.
